Bob Bean

Bob Bean is both President and Co-Founder of Acoustic Stream, Inc and a CAD Consultant. At Acoustic Stream, he directs the start-up company in developing wireless solutions and mobile apps for musicians and other industries. As a CAD consultant, he leverages his twenty five years in the industry to assist companies with their CAD/CAM/CAE strategy for sales, marketing and product development. Previously, Bob held executive positions at Kubotek and CADKEY, Inc. directing development of new technology and market initiatives. He was instrumental in the development and introduction of direct geometry-based technologies that are now standard features in most modern CAD systems. He is a registered Professional Engineer and holds BS and MS degrees from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Bob loves playing guitar, singing and fly fishing for Stripers on the Cape.

Carmen Chang

Carmen Chang joined NEA in 2012 and serves as Partner and Managing Director, Asia (Ex-India). In this role, she is focused on building NEA's global organization and portfolio in China and other emerging markets in Asia. Prior to joining NEA, Carmen was a Partner at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati (WSGR), where she specialized in corporate and securities law and led the firm's China practice. She has been involved with many of the seminal technology transactions and companies in China, including the first foreign investments in China Netcom; companies such as Lenovo, Foxconn, Google, Tencent, Netease, CEC, China Mobile and others; the IPOs of SMIC, Spreadtrum, and others; and numerous acquisitions and mergers.

Ric Fulop

Ric Fulop is a General Partner at North Bridge and brings hands-on experience from seed to having founded six technology companies before joining North Bridge. Ric leads the North Bridge software and 3D investing practices. North Bridge was the original Series A investor in several of the companies that have changed the CAD/CAM landscape including SolidWorks (acq. by Dassault Systemes), ProtoLabs (NASDAQ: PRLB), SpaceClaim (acq. by Ansys) and Revit (acq. by Autodesk). In addition to Onshape, Ric's current portfolio includes MarkForged, Dyn, Disqus, Gridco and Salsify.

Steve Krug

Steve has been a noted usability consultant for 25 years. His book Don’t Make Me Think: A Common Sense Approach to Web Usability has introduced half a million people to user experience design since it appeared in 2000, and he has always been grateful that his BA in English Literature from Boston College never interfered with his ability to write. He spends far too much of his spare time watching old black-and-white movies and reruns of The West Wing.

Dave Lemont

Dave brings to the early stage company broad executive experience in software development, sales and operations management and a special hands-on expertise in building winning “Go-to-Market” strategies. Throughout his distinguished career, Dave has successfully launched, grown, and guided software companies from inception through initial public offering and of 8 different start-up boards where he gained tangible experience guiding young entrepreneurs. He is very excited to back running his Lemont Consulting Practice once again.

Andy Payne

Andrew is an experienced executive, inventor, and entrepreneur, with over 20 years of experience building software & technology businesses. He's an investor or advisor for several startups, including Kayak, Care.com, Hubspot, Shareaholic, Digium, Understory, Pebble, and Mapkin. Previously, Andrew was a co-founder of FanSnap (acquired by Nextag). He was a principal at Computational Biology Corporation (CBC), which was acquired by Agilent in 2004. Before CBC, he was Founder, President and CEO of Revenio, a venture-funded eMarketing software company he founded in 1999 (acquired by Vignette in 2002).

Bob Roberman

Bob Roberman brings more than 25 years of experience in global technology sales, management, and operations. Currently, as president of Green Flash Development, Bob has expanded into various business ventures and continues to consult with companies that are looking to expand and grow their business respectively. Previously, Bob served as Director of channel development for DS SolidWorks, where he successfully created the World Wide Channel development program. As part of this program DS SolidWorks partners experienced rapid and sustained growth by implementing strategic business processes. Prior to DS SolidWorks, Bob was the founder and CEO of Computer Aided Technology, Inc. and Inflow Technologies which was the world’s first and leading DS SolidWorks partner. Bob began his career as an industrial designer and educator of computer aided designs systems. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design from Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN.

Peter Simon

Peter founded and manages Simon Management Group, a consulting firm which has worked with technology companies on growth strategies for more than 20 years. Prior to SMG, he was Marketing Vice President at Banyan Systems and General Manager at Lotus Development. Before Lotus, he was a manager at Bain & Company. Peter serves on the board of directors of Barrett Technology, a robotics company. He holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Brown University and an MBA from Stanford University. He plays tennis whenever he can.

Mike Volpe

Mike is an angel investor, board member, and startup advisor who has made more than 20 investments with 3 exits so far. He has significant experience in both SaaS and CAD. At HubSpot, Mike was part of the founding team and for 8 years in his role as CMO helped grow the company to over $150 million in recurring revenue and an IPO with a $1.5 billion market cap. Mike was also an early advisor to GradCAD, a mechanical engineering community acquired by Stratasys for $100m, and worked as Director of Marketing at SolidWorks where his team led demand generation, marketing communications and events globally. Mike holds a BA from Bowdoin College, summa cum laude, and an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management.
