Did you know you can paste a table into an Onshape Drawing?
Copy a table from Configurations, Variable Tables, Assembly Configurations, Custom Tables, or another table with design information and paste it into drawings to communicate and document design intent.
In addition, copy information from an external Google or Microsoft Excel sheet and paste it into an Onshape Drawing to enhance your workflow. This creates organized tables in your drawings.
Convert data from sources like Configuration Tables, Custom Tables, and Variable Studios to a CSV file and make adjustments using spreadsheet tools like cell formatting and merging. Once ready, select and copy the desired cell range. Paste it directly into your Onshape Drawing sheet using the right-click menu or press CTRL+v. Additionally, refine the table's look by applying cell formatting within Onshape as required.
Now, we can organize the imported geometry’s product data for off-the-shelf design components.
Bring in tables to capture part numbers directly from the configuration properties.
Bring in design data used to create parts.
NOTE: If using Onshape in a Mozilla Firefox browser, use CTRL+v to paste the table. The paste command from the context menu isn’t supported, and Safari isn’t supported.
