Not only can you use Onshape’s mobile application for editing and viewing CAD models, but you can also use it as part of your release process! When a release is sent out for approval, you receive a notification on your mobile device that you need to approve a release.
After opening and viewing the submitted changes to a design, you can choose to either approve or reject the release straight from your device, avoiding the design bottlenecks that can occur when waiting for a design to be reviewed.
In addition to being part of the approval process, you can also receive a push notification on your device if you’re listed as an observer on a document so that you’re in touch with all new releases. Watch the video below to learn more.
