Institutions that require additional administrative controls, private domains, or centralized user management may consider the Education Enterprise plan.

Yes. Onshape provides a Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT) detailing accessibility conformance.

Yes, students under 13 may use Onshape in an educational context when appropriate consent is provided.

Onshape complies with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar international regulations. Accounts for students under 13 must be created or authorized by a qualified adult, such as:

• A school or district acting on behalf of parents or guardians
• An educator or program administrator
• A parent or legal guardian

Students under 13 should not independently create accounts without this authorization. When putting in the birthday, the qualified adult creating the account can put their own birthday to signify that someone above the age limit is registering.

Student data is stored securely in cloud‑hosted infrastructure and is governed by PTC’s privacy, security, and data protection policies.

When a student is no longer eligible for an Education plan (such as after graduation or leaving a school), their account may be transitioned to a Free plan or upgraded to a paid plan.
