The Discovery Program is a limited time offer where qualified CAD professionals can receive access to Onshape Professional for up to 6 months, completely free. No commitment or credit card is required.

Anyone who uses CAD or PDM tools as part of their job, business, or other commercial purpose is eligible.

If you do not use CAD for commercial purposes you are encouraged to sign up for our Free Plan for makers and hobbyists.

If you are a Student or Educator you are welcome to sign up for our free Educational Plan.

Existing customers on a paid plan are not eligible for the program. Existing Free Plan users are eligible for the Discovery Program if they use CAD professionally in any capacity.

The Discovery Program is completely free. We will not ask you for any billing or credit card information. There is no commitment, automatic charges, or renewals.

At the end of the program your account will enter into a temporary view only state. All your data will remain private and you will be able to export your files. We will never make your data public without your consent

To continue editing your data or working in Onshape, you can either:

• Upgrade to a paid subscription.
• Downgrade to the Free plan where you can create and edit data in our public, open-source workspace. Your existing work will always remain private, view-only, and exportable unless you choose to make it public to continue editing it.
• Export your data and delete your account.

You can add additional users directly to your Onshape company once you set up your account. After signing into Onshape, click on your username in the upper right corner and select ‘Company Settings’. From the ‘Users’ tab, you can add additional users by entering their email address.
