During the course of any product design, it is inevitable that some construction geometry will be created along the way. Of course this geometry has its place, but there are times when you want to hide all construction geometry. In Onshape’s recent update (Release 1.113), we released a shortcut command for this purpose.
To hide all construction geometry, use the “Shift” and “P” keys simultaneously. Construction geometry in this case is defined as sketches, curves, mates, and mate connectors. This shortcut will apply to both directly created geometry and derived construction geometry. This shortcut will also work at the assembly level on the same geometries.
Remember: You can always refresh your memory on all of Onshape’s shortcut options from the Help Menu .
