Amidst all the new features being added every few weeks, it may seem hard to believe that Onshape was practically just born. Since our release to the public five months ago, the demand for full-cloud CAD has grown exponentially. That demand was evident when our first Onshape User Group Meeting in San Diego attracted nearly 50 attendees in May.
So now, we’re moving north. If you’re in the Silicon Valley, we’d love to have you join us at the first "Bay Area Future of CAD" Meetup on Wednesday, July 29, at Google headquarters:
This is a great opportunity to network with fellow Onshape users, meet key Onshape team members, and learn some CAD tips and tricks. There will be free food, live presentations, and giveaways!
If you have an interesting Onshape project to show off, please bring it along for the open demo portion of the event. You are welcome to present your own projects or share your favorite demos or applications.
Not in Northern California? There are Onshape User Group Meetups happening soon in other major areas. Don’t see a meetup near you? Consider starting one. We would be glad to help if you are interested in hosting an Onshape User Group in your area.
